The guitarist repertory book 1 by Yvon Rivoal

The guitarist repertory has a progressive technical and musical approach to literature for guitar. The pieces were chosen for their musical and educational value. While covering the period from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, they will not chronologically but according to their degree of difficulty.

This first collection is designed for beginners, mainly uses the notes at the beginning of round and systematically excludes the use of strikethrough and bonds.

On the technical side, we emphasize mainly on indications stubborn and pinched and the choice between these two forms of attack will be clearly defined for each part.

Musically, besides the basics of respect for the text - respect held notes and rests - the author will give priority to cutting "musical phrases", which underlines the construction of each piece. This notion of phrasing, too often absent in Directory Submission for guitar, is essential to understanding and memorizing every work.

Technical elements and solfégiques contained in this collection are explained in the Notes from guitarist "and" The Decoding guitar "(by the same publisher)
