In 2012 Larsen Strings purchased the business and product range of Crown Strings in Sweden. All Crown strings have now been completely redesigned by Larsen Strings and distinctly improved in sound as well as playing characteristics.  The new Crown set offers a smooth and brilliant - but non-metallic – sound with fine projection and modulation capability.  All strings have a solid steel core. The new C string is Tungsten wound, leading to improved string response.  More than ever Crown strings are a high quality level product with consistent sound properties, but at a very affordable price.
