MicroVox Swan Neck mic

The Swan Neck microphone is a great studio pickup either for violin, viola, brass (trumpet, trombone, horns, ...) and percussion instruments.

• violin/viola : the mic mounts on the tail piece by means of Velcro pads, and the stem can be adjusted to reach to the bass "f" hole
• brass instruments : the mic mounts on the outside of the bell by means of Velcro pads, and the stem can be adjusted to reach to the edge thus allowing the use of a mute
• percussions : the mic mounts on the inside of the rim and is bent to face the head
