Availability date:
As a result of hand perspiration from the last rehearsal or from sticky, greasy fingerprints from the previous marquee session… in the long run, varnished surfaces of our instruments will be damaged by aggressive substances or their harmful degradation products. In the beginning, affected surfaces become dull and blunt, but as process continues, the damage has an effect on the bottom line – in the truest sense of the word as the material beneath the lacquer will be affected as well. But there is a solution...
Especially developed for lacquered brasswind instruments, Heyday's lacquer protection is a semi-permanent ultra-thin coating of surfaces for the protection against aggressive hand perspiration and other harmful environmental influences. Already existing and microscopically small damages to the lacquered surface will be repaired as well as the instrument’s brilliance restored. Treated surfaces will become smoother and soil repellent. As a result, cleaning expenditures will decrease evidently.
