The legacy of "The perception of music" must BE thought, debated and analyzed, especially when fifty years back we allow. This is where the whole project of this collection. It gathers and analyzes the reflections of his most direct heirs (those who attended the Psychology Laboratory culture Robert Frances founded in 1969 at the University Paris X - Nanterre), but also those more distant from him by eminent researchers their disciplinary, geographic and generational backgrounds and who have read, enjoyed and well integrated into their thinking as their work "the perception of music."
