Vandoren V5 series ebonite mouthpieces feature a flat baffle, small round bore, and normal and Jazz chambers.  They are available in a variety of styles suitable for classical and jazz musicians as well as students.

• A15 (opening : 1,76 mm) : easy to play, the A15 is recommended by educators for students of classical music
• A17 (opening : 1,52 mm) : noteworthy heir of the A27, it combines intonation and response to richness of sound with maximum dynamic range in all registers
• A20 (opening : 1,86 mm) : especially designed to offer the musician the possibility of playing softer reeds without sacrificing sound quality
• A25 (opening : 1,86 mm) : wider tip opening than A15 but same quality sound
• A27 (opening : 1,65 mm) : designed for playing soft reeds with optimum tone color, especially in extended top range ; recommended for studying classical saxophone
• A28 (opening : 1,63 + mm) : pure tone and an evenness of sound in all registers ; an incomparable richness of sound and range of colours
• A35 (opening : 2,06 mm) : for classical music or jazz (Big Band & section work)
• A45 (opening : 2,20 mm) : offers the same qualities as the A35, ideal for Be-Bop
